Arse!! etc

I am a bad blogger. Fustar hosts this great story group, Dreadful Thoughts, twice a month. It’s fun, and way less hassle than a book club. A story is picked, we read it, and meet the next week to chat about it in the comments, over a glass of absinthe or what have you. It’s fun because of the stories, the witty and insightful conversation, Niall’s muxtapes, Fustar’s wonderfully creative intros, and deadly Dreadly badges – so much to offer!

This week, we did Gabriel Ernest, by Saki, one of my favourites – and I forgot to go! Again! I’m awful. I rushed over to read the conversation and saw hardly anyone made it – so I’m hoping anyone who likes their fiction occasionally Macabre might head over and add to the comments, and we might retroactively breathe some life into what should have been a fun one.

Zombie Dreadful Thoughts, I like the idea! Head on over, go on. Take a look. If nothing else, it’s a great story.

  1. Interesting idea Jo, at least most people should be able to find time to read a short story :)
Ironically, no time to read it this afternoon myself but will have a look tonight/tomorrow

  2. Ok, Jo, Consider yourself forgiven! I’ll try and post something later, if I get the time, about the best way to go forward (if forward we still want to go). I feel, after initial resignation, inspired again. Glutton for punishment!
